ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Straight out of Northeast Kansas, comes The Primetime Heroes. The band bashes out
perfect melodic punk rock with lots of guitar and tons of sing along harmony to keep
you rockin'. A veritable pop-punk rock and roll machine, the group was formed in
2002. In the past two years, the group has recorded and released two albums on Noisome
Records and become a consistent draw throughout the Midwest.

And with a live show that features an abundance of punk-rock aerials, Mike Ness
guitar stances, and three-fourths of the band in constant motion -- and a drummer
who barely keeps his seat at that -- the Primetime Heroes bring a glimmer of
excitement to any live show.

The Primetime Heroes trace their influences to the early punk bands of the late 70s
and to the pop punks sounds of today from bands like Lagwagon, New Found Glory,
Screeching Weasel, and Green Day.

The band has mostly toured in the Midwest, but has also traveled outside the area to
play shows in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Indiana, Iowa, and
Nebraska

Add to the mix the recent release of their sophomore album, "A Date With Destiny,"
recorded at Black Lodge Studios (owned by members of The Get Up Kids) with rock production god Ed Rose (Get Up Kids, Ultimate Fakebook). The Lawrence Journal World's entertainment website, Lawrence.com describes the record as having a "youthful punk rock exuberance" and "radio-ready." Kansas City's Pitch Weekly calls the release "hard to resist."

The Primetime Heroes are an untapped resource in the world of pop punk, and are just
waiting to break into the big time. Their shows aren't to be missed, and the albums
are a series of hook-filled tunes that grab the listener by the ears and demand to
be heard.

I recently saw PTH at a place in my city, and instantly loved them. They are GREAT live, and I reccomend their cd, A Date With Destiny. If you don't buy the CD at least listen to Back In Rotation. Their music is so awesome, it's unable to put into words. They actually write about stuff rather than just rambling like most bands. Definately check them out!! They're super nice people too.

this cd is fantastic
The Primetime Heroes did it once agian. This cd is amazing. With songs like "Negativly Charged" and "Freinds With Potential" plus just about every other song on the record, there's no way you can go wrong. Simply put, its an excellent compact disc and you should buy it, now.

PRIMETIME HEROES ROCK THE HOUSE
This CD is the best that I have listened to before. The band is better live, but you know the review is about the cd. So........back in rotation is my favorite song. Although I'm a girl, I love the song She'll Be Mine! Its awesome! Hold My Breath is great live! My friend loves the song Friends With Potential. But, I need to cut this short. YOU MUST GO TO THEIR GIG AND BUY THIS CD OR ORDER IT. It is well worth the money. Oh yeah....another good thing to do would be to go see them live. They put on an awesome show! KEEP ON ROCKIN! Im out!

generically awesome
Yes, many would say that pop punk is getting old, and I know that I don't need to mention the scathing looks I get when I mention that I'm into pop punk...and this CD fits perfectly into that category, but that doesn't stop it from being awesome. I'd love to see the band live, they sound like they've got some great energy. Best song: "Frame by Frame". This album is definitely worth the $12.97.
