ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This work may be one of Quito's best known albums to date as the Title track, Mix Up World, is featured on Puntamayo's Islands Album and has long been a favorite of Jimmy Buffett.
This album is the closest that Quito comes to being political. As a deeply spiritual man it struck him as he was writing this album that the information given to us in the media underlines and exposes the imbalance in the quality of life around the world. This was written before the days of CNN, Facebook & Twitter, but the story remains the same. Governments are unwilling to make the playing field even for all, but rather seem to strive to widen the gap between those who have versus those who have not. Preachers too so often spout the same old philosophy about "Pie in the Sky" and the need for the congregation to give more of their money to those same preachers rather than focusing on the true message of showing love & kindness to our fellow man. This is evidence to show how "Mix up" their minds are, confused by the large doses of the same old practices. That's what has made this beautiful world a Mix-Up , Mix-Up world......
