ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Manete Fortis was originally conceived as a snow-surf album, celebrating the joys of skiing and snowboarding. However, about 2 songs in I realized I had insufficient knowledge of both activities to fill an entire album. It turns out tearing a hamstring isn't really all that informative. Instead, I changed to sing about things I knew (or wanted to learn about): micronations (Rocket to Celestia), fantasy (Journey to the Monolith, Silver Tipped Daggers), and nuclear devestation (Memory Chase). Sprinkle in some love, some flights of fancy, and a few robots, and you've got a snapshot of a moment of a life. I hope you enjoy the album half as much as I enjoyed making it!

Hooray for Manete Fortis:

"EPIC Love song!!" - Prove My Love, the lead single from Randy Johnson's fourth album, Manete Fortis.

"It's a must-have, a really delicious slice of surf/shoegaze!" - Canata Records
