Bring Back The Magic

by Randy & the Wolfpack

Very catchy 3 minute pop songs with memorable hooks, melodies, and lyrics, leaving you asking, where is the radio airplay and major label backing? Many great reviews. Many say this is the best CD yet.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
* NOVEMBER 2004 * "Songwriters Randy Justesen and Larry Wolf Do It Again!" Reviewer: Mark Arneson - President / TriMark Productions Inc. The Best Kept Secret in the Minneapolis music scene is Randy and the Wolfpack. And their c.d. "Bring Back the Magic" is certain proof they're a force to reckon with. I had the pleasure to see them live and the energy was flowing. But to catch that on c.d. is a hard task but these guys lived up to the challenge. The band was tight and rockin'. With the lead vocals by Randy Justesen and a tight rhythm section by Larry Wolf and Scott Edberg. "Bring Back the Magic" is definitely a c.d. you should check out! Starting with "In the Clouds"; Its catchy melody, nice harmonys, and great groove with Larry Wolf and Scott Edberg Laying it down. On to "Bring Back the Magic"; the track is very much complimented by a very nice piano track, also catchy melody, Nice guitar, and background vocals. On to "All Lone"; Nice Ballad and very cool piano intro. On to "Broken Hearts"; One of my favorite tracks. A very swanky country song with great guitar and vocal concepts, written by famed Minneapolis DJ Larry Wolf. On to the Beatles influenced "Hesitation" and the .38 Special influenced "In Your Heart", two songs made for the radio. On to "Lucky Guy", this song reflects their live show, and has Larry Wolf and Scott Edberg again laying down a great groove and showing off great double guitar lines by Jeff Collins and Randy Justesen. The Bonus Tracks are even cool. But check out the other version of "Lucky Guy". Recorded at the famed Blackberry Way Minneapolis Recording studio. In the land of Pawlenty, the Minnesota Vikings, Walter Mondale, Soul Asylum, and Prince. It gets awfully cold up here. But check out this c.d. to keep you warm. The beatle, Badfinger,.38 Special, Dashboard Confessional, influenced "Randy and the Wolfpack", is sure to please anyone ready to Rock Out! This C.D. is Highly Recommended! - Mark Arneson - President / TriMark Productions - www.cdcbaby.com/mava - www.markarneson.com

AMERECORD - DECEMBER 2004 * SONG "BRING BACK THE MAGIC LANDS ON COMPILATION CD * The title song off the "Bring Back The Magic" CD is released on a compilation CD called "STAR TRACKS USA" distributed to radio stations nationwide.

TAXI - NOVEMBER 2004 * "BRING BACK THE MAGIC" CD FEEDBACK * Listener #132 & 79 * "Influences cover many varied styles & your musicianship & songcraft are very professional. Arrangements sound very solid, and you've got an excellent melodic sensibility"

RIFT MAGAZINE - MAY 2004 * REVIEW BY KENT WEISS * Bring Back the Magic - CD * "All the tracks are well-written and the listening experience is pleasurable. Nice instrumentation and harmonies abound on this CD. Randy & the Wolfpack is carrying on the tradition of classic rock and country music."

CAMBRIDGE STAR NEWSPAPER - MARCH 2004 * REVIEW BY GREG BATES * Bring Back the Magic - CD * Headline reads: "RANDY & THE WOLFPACK RELEASE GEM OF A CD." "You know you have heard a catchy song when you recite the chorus out loud non-stop. This is what I caught myself doing the other day after listening to "Bring Back the Magic" the title track from Randy and the Wolfpack's last album. The songs on the band's third release get in your head and stay there. This is an electrifying studio recording group, they are a can't miss. My Favorite cut on the album, "Bring Back the Magic", its repetitive chorus and harmonics kept me craving for more. It is undoubtedly the cream-of-the-crop on the disc. "In Your Heart" also caused me to hit the repeat button on my disc changer a few times. The song features catchy guitar riffs and solid concise songwriting. "The Wind" the 11th track on the 12-song CD, exemplifies the Beatlesque influence that lead singer, songwriter and guitarist Randy Justesen has. Justesen shares his soothing vocals on the song.

MIDWEST BANDS - MARCH 2004 * REVIEW BY MARK LUSH * Bring Back the Magic - CD * Two bright spots: The first was the opening song, entitled 'Into the Clouds'. This song has a very mellow sound, and for me, was reminiscent of a time period in the 70's when rock music sounded like this. The harmonies were good, and I did actually feel something from the recording! The other bright spot is an instrumental included as a bonus track on the CD, entitled "Guitar Me 3". Again, this was a song that caused me to feel something! I liked it a lot, and would be pleased if the band included more instrumentals like it in the future! I'm rooting for Randy and the Wolfpack! I really hope that the future brings great things for them! The hard work and determination they have invested will hopefully pay off at some point, and when it does, I will truly be happy for them! I'll still happily join them in a toast if they make it big!

MINNESOTA SONGWRITERS ASSOCIATION - FEBRUARY 2004 * President Vicky Logan * BRING BACK THE MAGIC - CD * "I have had the opportunity to listen to a lot of independent CDs, but one of the few bands that have stood out in my mind has been Randy and the Wolfpack. A group of talented musicians from the Twin Cities, the Wolfpack writes music that is fun and full of life. They remind me of the early Beatles and the Monkees, and then they throw in some 80's style and classic rock to keep me interested for the long haul. I haven't had the chance to see them perform yet, but they are one band I will be looking to see in the future. The energy emitted from their CDs can only be defined as awesome."

JANUARY 2004 * ONLINEROCK.COM * BRING BACK THE MAGIC - CD * "These songs flow very well, and the concept of the album is great. This is a good straightforward hometown album. The songwriting is great, and based on the exposure and recognition they have received they continue to head in the right direction. I believe these guys put on a great show, even though I haven't ever seen them live. I believe if you love the sound of country, folk rock, classic rock, bar band instrumentation, and ability to have a good time, you will enjoy the tracks given to us on this album. Take the time and listen to it. Randy and the Wolfpack also earned a spot in my changer." Favorite track - 6 "Broken Hearts" Review by Erik Beyer

JANUARY 2004 * Papa John Kolstad, Owner Mill City Music & Wampus Cat Swallowtail Records * BRING BACK THE MAGIC - CD * "Very Beatlesque, music of Substance"
