Album Notes
The atmosphere involving the music of Raquel is unique. At the base of her words is united a blending of warm and strident sounds that colors moments of live.
Trials, joy and sorrows overcome and especially overall hope are the seal of this production.A path of sensations that take us to recognize the spiritual reality in the grasp of any person.

After years of searching Raquel comes to us filled with illusions and desiring to share the most intimate of her heart in this handful of songs. Blues, gospel, acoustic and urban sounds describing these melodies that transport us directly before the presence of God.
Each song is a world, a secret place where sentiments bloom, where the deepest questions find answer, where the wounded soul is healed. Raquel shows herself authentic and clear, intimate and direct, inviting the listener with her style but challenging him with her message, because from an observant perspective search the pain and the loneliness of the soul.
Raquel was born in Madrid where she lived her childhood and part of her youth. The last several years she has been traveling in different countries, Holland, Brazil, and the United States where now resides with her husband Daniel. Each culture has acted as school and a place of learning that has enlarge her understanding and knowledge of the needs of mankind. Her honours degree in theology through the Alfa and Omega University and her pastoral in the church “El camino Christian fellowship ” in Iowa City , Iowa, are more than sufficient references to understand the character of this disc. Her necessity to search for transcendental answers accompany with her closeness and love for other, result in an album that invites to think, to reflect on, opening the soul and spirit to a world where God draws near through his Son Jesus Christ.
