ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Night Creatures" is the first album from Rebecca Capua, a Williamsburg, Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter. She has been called “a sweet, mellow performer,” with “an intimately sweet voice that resonates into your skin.” “Sweet” seems to be the designated term to describe her songs, but "Night Creatures" is also a considered work of solid songwriting, an aspect that many think set Rebecca’s music apart from others. Over the past few years, Rebecca has become a fixture in the NYC singer-songwriter circuit and this much-anticipated album was made to satisfy and surprise those who have enjoyed her music on the stage.

Tamara Turner, CD Baby

With a voice as plaintive and moving as Harriet Wheeler of the Sundays, Rebecca Capua writes the kinds of songs that put a lump in your throat and send you into a spiral of nostalgia and wistful dreaming. She describes her music as, "the perfect pillow talk, the kind of songs you might play on the last night spent with your sweetheart before moving away to another continent." If that isn't enough to prick your heart, the light innonence and emotional, yet carefree quality of her songs will leave an impression.
