ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Every now and again we grab on to a favorite song that we must hear over and over. This year's favorite is "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas," a wish to everyone around the world for a peaceful holiday season. I'm taking Jazz Improvisation this coming semester at Kent State, and i was in a jazz mood when I recorded this popular 1940's selection, originally recorded by Judy Garland for the movie, Meet Me In St. Louis. I called my friend, George, and asked if he would be so kind to join me in the recording studio with our incredibly talented engineer Gavin Murphy. I think you'll agree that "mellow" is George's middle name. (Seriously, he is AWESOME.)
Wishing you the merriest and happiest Christmas,
Rebecca
