This album features a live radio broadcast of Red Barker and the Blue Mountain Boys. Broadcasted from radio station WTNC in Thomasville, NC. This is just before Red Barker teamed up with banjo ledgend Larry Richardson to make one of the hot regional Bluegrass bands at the time. Band members are Red Barker,(vocals, mandolin) Gene \"Hard Times\" Snyder,(vocals, guitar) Buddy Crisp,(vocals, guitar) Carl Hunt (banjo) and Lawrence Prevette.(bass)

This album brings back fond memories for my family, as the artist is also a relative. Red Barker was an exceptional Bluegrass artist and a regional favorite in central North Carolina.
