Album Notes
Red Static is a rock power-trio hailing from Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Consisting of Matt Gregory on drums, Derek Jacobs on bass guitar, and Donny Versiga on guitar and vocals, the 70's hard rock inspired band has finally cut 12 of their original songs onto CD. Playing styles from hard rock, blues, to folk, the band has obviously been influenced by the psychedelic-blues-rock powerhouses of the late 60's / early 70s, such as Jimi Hendrix ("Get Right Back"; "Outta Here Fast"), Led Zeppelin ("Another Man's Guitar"; "True"), and Cream ("White Girl"; "This Sad Song") by executing powerful, crunchy rhythm guitars, mind-bending solos, thunderous bass lines, soulful vocals, and solid drumming.
