ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Rentokiller came to life late 2000. After recording 3 demos, \"Cadaveri eccelente\" was released in 2005 by Danish label: Northpost records. This debut record was very well received by audiences and critics alike. It was nominated for a \"Best rock record-2005\"-award by Sweden´s public radio channel: P3 along with: Burst, Opeth, Hellacopters and Grand Magus.

Opening track \"Pieces of worship\" is still a liveshow favourite and opens up nicely for a whirlwind of furious songs with obvious cathartic qualities. The record is clearly arranged to make for an eclectic ensemble, but still keeps its focal point on getting as much frustration out per note and phrase as possible.

This recording was of huge importance for the group as it not only scratched the name: Rentokiller all over and out of Sweden. It also inspired the quartet to focus even harder on its creative aspirations as well as feeding the lust, will and love of making music. The kind of music aiming to infuse just those feelings to whomever is listening.
