ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Resin Gypsy is a hard rock/blues duo from New Jersey with a unique, melodic and heavy sound that has been compared to bands like Cream, Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath. Guitarist/Vocalist Dre DiMura and drummer Kaleen Reading met while attending the School of Rock Music in Hamilton New Jersey. Collectively having performed all across the world at venues such as B.B. Kings, The Waldorf Astoria, the Electric Factory and the Zappanale festival in Germany with legendary performers such as Gloria Gaynor, Dee Snider, Joe Lynn Turner and YES the group began writing music in Spring 2011 and released a three song demo in January 2012 which was met with a positive response from critics and peers. Don Jamieson, a host of VH1's "That Metal Show" described the work as, "Terrific! It made me happy to hear something so well done, original and creative but with a real old school Cream type of vibe." In April 2012 the band convened to record new music and release their eponymous debut album, Resin Gypsy.
