Album Notes
Retrolust: MediKation is the latest evolution of the Retrolust sound, utilizing 80's synth pop arrangements, beats and sounds, but with a modern edge and sharp attitude.

MediKation is centered around the concept of trauma-based mind control, with the capital letters "M" & "K" alluding to the infamous CIA project, MK Ultra.

- The electronic beats and sounds resemble the scientific approach of mind control.
- The album from beginning to end resembles that of the process of hypnosis - try turning out the lights, getting in a comfortable chair, putting your noise-canceling earphones on, and playing the album.
- Memes are developed in each song through hooks and key words, in order to give them a life of their own - right there in your mind.
- Each song deals with one aspect of mind control, from drugs, emotional trauma and despair, and mass media and social programming.
- And finally, the instrumentals are designed in a way to represent the phases of hypnosis - Induction, Suggestion and Trigger.

"For as he thinks within himself, so he is" Proverbs 23:7
