ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This CD contains two different versions of the same song, "Oh, George" which is a musical tribute to George Reeves, the star of the 1950's TV show "Adventures of Superman". It is about the impact his death had on the artist when he was a little boy. The style of the song is classic 1950's pop/rock, influenced by the Beach Boys, Roy Orbison, and the Moody Blues.

There is a video of "Oh, George," on YouTube which you can find here:

Reviews:

I listened to your song again... and each time I do, I relive, with ever greater detail, that awful day back in 1959. I share your continued sorrow and thank you for giving us this song. I especially enjoy the ending lines which direct us back to George's life and all the good times he shared with us.

I want to thank you for sharing your tribute song to George Reeves. What can I say but that was fantastic!! You do him and his memory honor. It's nice to know that there are fans out there keeping George's memory alive and will continue to do so. Again thank you and continued success.

Wow. Nicely done...Your song has a great '50s feel, and the ending actually transcends your subject matter and is really inspiring and superb. Congratulations!!!

I loved your song.  It really moved me.  What a wonderful addition to the tributes for George.

Your song reminds me of “A Day in the Life.”

It’s a masterpiece.

One of the best songs ever!

"Oh, George" is a musically rich song tribute
"Oh, George" lyrics are surprising and soulful. Music seems influenced by Beach Boys and Orbison. I love the complexity of the music and the message about hope and perspective on a tragic event.
