ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Richard Rubin has been entertaining audiences around the world for the past several years. Whether appearing on television as a host, contestant, correspondent, presenter, talking head, guest star, interviewee, or panelist on such networks as NBC, VH1, E!, MTV, Nickelodeon, and Comedy Central, or appearing in person as a pianist/comedian in hotels, restaurants, and luxury cruise ships, he consistently gets rave reviews for his quirky and energetic performances. Among his dozens of television appearances in the United States, he is most well known as the star of the CW’s Ashton Kutcher-produced hit reality show, “Beauty and the Geek,” and as a regular celebrity mob member on the NBC gameshow, “1 vs. 100,” produced by Endemol USA and hosted by Bob Saget. In South America he is known as the co-host of “Flor de Palabra,” an Argentine gameshow produced by Endemol which aired on TELEFE and TELEFE Internacional. The show was filmed in Buenos Aires and done entirely in the Spanish language. He co-hosted the show with Florencia Pena, Argentina’s premier comedic actress.

His favorite style of music is ragtime, and this is his debut CD. For all those who love that tinkling, toe-tapping, turn-of-the-century sound of the pianna, then this album is for you!
