Ease My Pain

by Rich Tycoon

Ease My Pain was written by Rich Tycoon at a time most hustlers would be celebrating their new found success. It's the story of a runaway turned drug dealer who turns to drugs and alcohol to ease his pain. This song is raw, just as the streets are.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Rich Tycoon is known for his true-to-life music or reality rap. He often turns real life situations he's been in into entertaining rap songs. While his troubled life is the foundation of his music, his message reaches others who've seen similar issues and are searchjing for a way out.

Rich Tycoon entered the juvenile correctional system as a 13-year old, discharging parole for the first time in 2000. Most of his early years were spent on the streets, in group homes, juvenile halls, county jails, and prisons.

In 2004 Rich Tycoon returned to the street life after spending a few years trying to find his way in a world that is extremely hard on ex-cons. In 2007 he was re-arrested for drug sales, and in 2012 discharged parole for the 2nd time after being sentenced to a 3-year prison term in which he served 18 months.

After beating parole Rich Tycoon released the single Fresh (Off Parole). Another song stemming from his life's adventures. He credits music for saving his life and helping him through some of his toughest times.
