The Three-String Waltzes

by Rin Eric

Original, modern, simple, easy guitar pieces for beginners. No chords -- music for people too busy to do 'serious' music, but who love music and want to play. Just on the first 3 strings of the guitar, it's so easy anyone can learn, and it's satisfying!

Album Notes
Rin Eric, musician and composer has been performing and teaching guitar in Santa Cruz, California for many years. He originally wrote 'Apple Waltz' for a 7-year-old student who needed something even easier than the available beginner's material. It was a great way for him to learn the arrangement of frets and strings and how the guitar makes music. It’s easy-to-play individual notes, with no chords. His students liked 'Apple Waltz' so much that there were requests for more, so he added them one by one, naming them for the fruit and nut trees in his garden, until there were 10. Rin plays all 3 parts on this recording.

Part of the beauty of this charming music is in its simplicity and the ease with which it can be learned and played. To learn to play them, please see the "Three-String Waltzes I: Tutorial". It includes a CD with each part played separately for each of the 10 pieces. It also includes an instruction booklet with an easy-to-follow chart describing the notes for each part.
