Album Notes
This first release is an energetic collection of dance music from beloved twentieth-century composers Astor Piazzolla, Samuel Barber and John Corigliano. Whether a tango, a waltz, a schottisch, a two-step, pas de deux, or galop--each track sparkles with the energy and passion the performers bring to this music through their love of duet playing and their love of dance. They live on the line between musical scholarship and embracing risk--and the results are electric.

A Wonderful CD
This is simply the best performance of four-hand music I have ever heard. Both performers, each of whom is a professional concert artist, superbly work together as a team. In addition, the choice of repertoire is outstanding and unique among piano duos. It is a relief to hear some something different from the usual tired fare so often given us in the duo piano world. I urge everyone to get this CD and to follow the efforts of this exciting team.
