Jared began his music career playing the viola at the age of 11. He studied privately for 7 years and was classically trained.
A few years into his study of the viola, Jared began to play the piano. Over time he started to compose original pieces by ear. His debut of his original music was largely spread by the release of his student films he made in high school, which he wrote accompanying scores to.
At this time he started major collaborations with his cousin, vocalist, lyricist, and composer Emily Tribe. Jared and Emily collaborated on numerous songs during this time period, especially those that accompanied the student films.
After graduating from high school Jared released his first solo album, "The Last Mile", chronicling the pathways life takes us on, especially his journey after graduating from high school. About a year later he released his follow up, "Edge of Darkness", exploring 'the edge between light and dark, certain and uncertainty'.
At this point Jared was also closely involved in recording and engineering Emily Tribe's new material. Jared and Emily went on to compose, record, and produce the album "Synergy", a collaboration of both their efforts.
Jared's newest album is entitled "Between These Walls" and was released April 22, 2008. Jared is now working on producing Emily Tribe's new album, "Finally Home". The two are also working on a follow up album to their collaboration on "Synergy".
