The band Rising Appalachia is led by sisters Leah Song and Chloe Smith. Their work is an eclectic mix of traditional Appalachian and Americana music mixed with original songs that are influenced by Cajun, hip-hop, urban dance, and world music. This is the first DVD that the band has produced and is receiving rave reviews.
