ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Trish and Richard Bruxvoort Colligan comprise The River\'s Voice, an acoustic duo featuring piano and guitar and smooth vocal harmonies.

One of our favorite days of the year is the winter solstice. It\'s the darkest day of the year and, in our estimation, deserves attention. Where are the shadowy places in our life stories? The confusing and bewildering seasons? This seemed to us a moment to recognize not only the anticipation of the Christmas season of emerging light, but the richness of seasons of darkness as well.

So this CD is music to accompany this dark season of Advent, Solstice into Christmastide. A few traditional carols, a few obscure old songs to introduce to listeners, and a few original songs make this album unique in your collection.
