ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Rob Stoneback Big Band hails from the Allentown, PA, area and has been thrilling dancers and listeners since 1979. Trombonist and leader Rob Stoneback shows off his arranging ability by orchestrating each of the 14 tracks, including 5 originals.

Bill Watrous hails the band as "one of the best bands I've ever played with." Exemplifying that powerful swing doesn't come only from big cities, this band has the force and grace of the name swing bands. Smoking soloists + tight ensemble + wonderful charts = terrific listening and dancing music.

"We've performed with stars such as Natalie Cole, Johnny Mathis, The Manhattan Transfer, Rosemary Clooney, Olivia Newton-John, Lou Rawls.... Now give a listen to our own music."
