Winchester Cathedral was a number 1 hit in late 1966. Released by " New Vaudeville Band" Written by Geoff Stephens. The original version had lyrics that were sung through the singers hands to imitate a megaphone sound. This version by Robert Aguirre is an instrumental on acoustic guitar with some bass, light persecution and some harmonica. It's a folk/ jazz/ blues combination. This clever and catchy version of Winchester Cathedral is a nice easy listening to, and easy to fallow along with song, It also remains true to it's original melody.
