Album Notes
"El Norte" is a 10 tracks debut Trio album, with original compositions telling personal stories from Roberto, composed while living in Europe between 2005 and 2011, topics from his homeland, music roots, memories from travels, love stories, dry and wet landscapes from Mexico and Northern Europe, sunny and cloudy, hopes and will, all in a Jazz Guitar Trio ensemble, beautifully accompanied by Mihail Ivanov and Srdjan Ivanovic great talented young musicians from Bulgaria and Serbia based in Amsterdam, together they talk as a trio and vibrate their instruments to share this sounds efforts, and to express why are we here if not to talk with our soul?.
