ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
I'm Roberto Trainer, 52 years old.
I am not a musician in the true sense of the word, therefore I have no discography and list of concerts to show.
But there was a time, thirty years ago to be precise, in which I had thousands of dreams to be realized and a great desire to conquer the world.
Armed only with my guitar and my thumb I travelled by hitch-hiking around Europe for seven years and played as a street singer in the tunnels, underground and squares of the main cities.
During those years I met a lot of people, lived many adventures and wrote many songs.
Il vecchio del metrò is an album full of songs related to that period of my life (the main song talks about a clochard with whom I lived in the london underground for ten days).
