ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Cafe Racer" is the Rocking Scoundrels 6th full length CD. This power trio, fronted by British singer/songwriter and guitar player Dave Haynes, play a hybrid of rockabilly, rock 'n' roll and blues (think Stray Cats meets Eddie Cochran). The songs are short, catchy, and chock full of guitar licks. Tracks like "Cafe Racer," "Threepenny Bit," "Brit Iron Rebel" and "Promenade Percy," all pay homage to Dave's passion for the British motorbike scene of the 50's/60's. But that's not all, check out the rockin' cover version of the Ray Charles classic "Mess Around," and the Dick Dale style instrumental "Spooks," and you'll see a range of versatility that clearly places the Rocking Scoundrels as leaders of the pack in this genre.
Dave Haynes: Lead Vocals, Guitar
David "Drumbo" Dalessandro: Drums, Percussion
Bobby "Jed" Emerson: Bass Guitar, Vocals
