ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
these boys play and sing good country music.they also write their songs.they have been playing together for about five years as rode west.three of them have toured with major artists in years past.these include vern gosdin, tommy cash, little jimmy dickens, etc.the youngest of the group tagged along behind in those days, now he's right there with them.these guys deliver tight harmonies as well as strong haggardish lead vocals.they play in and around nashville and put on a show.this cd was recorded and produced in nashville,tn.in sound contrl studio, long time friends of the band.there is another cd being recorded now that will follow soon.there is a lot of time, money, and heart that goes into songs, trying to present the best product to fans that come to shows and maybe some new fans who listen on cd baby!thanks for your time.

Wow
That's all I can say is wow. Traditional country is back with Rodewest. I know Keith Whitley would be very proud.

Cowboy's Love by Rode West
Now THIS is country music!!! If you're tired of listening to the stuff that most "country" radio stations of today are trying to cram down our throats and call it country -- then this is the CD for you!! This group sings AND writes country music and it's great to hear that there's still some of that out there. Clayton Claxton has always sung and written country and it's great to hear his song, "What's a Cowboy Gonna Do" again. This music brings back lots of wonderful memories of attending many shows during the time Clayton was the frontman for Tommy Cash's TomCats. This is a group that I can't wait to get more CDs from. Keep the REAL country coming!! Elaine Hier (keeping it country in Minnesota)
