Rodney Durso

by Rodney Durso

He's been called "one hell of a lyricist... Durso gets right to emotional truth in short order". His soothing resonant voice and well place hooky paino-based melodies make him a sure name to watch on the New York City music scene.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
These six tracks are a starting point on a musical journey that I've been on for more than a decade. I've studied song writing and vocal technique for many years, and have been influenced by some great song writers like Elvis Costello, Ben Folds and Jackson Browne. I am always writing and have lots more in the pipeline. There will be a follow up to this disc in 2014.
The disc was recorded at Wonderland Studios in Woodstock, NY and the session players, like Mike Visceglia and Doug Yowell have worked with artists such as Suzanne Vega and Mitchell Froom.
