This collection of 16 (14 Cajun songs with 2 Country style songs) featuring Rodney LeJeune on vocals & rhythm guitar, were processed from original 45RPM records released in the late 1950’s thru 1970’s.
Rodney LeJeune was born in Church Point, Louisiana. He always loved Cajun music and was inspired by his cousin, Iry LeJeune.
Rodney started playing music and singing at the age of 17. In 1957 he moved to Texas and started performing with Andrew Cormier. He has played Cajun music with lots of great musicians.
Rodney has performed for many Cajun Festivals, Benefits and at many Clubs thru out Texas and Louisiana.
Rodney has recorded many songs and still enjoys listening to Cajun music. He retired his guitar in 1998 and now enjoys Camping. Rodney is married, and has two grown children and two grandchildren…all love Cajun Music.
Rodney is a member of the Louisiana Cajun Music Hall of Fame.
