The album consists in 10 improvisations tracks in diferents size shakuhachi.
The shakuhachi, pronounced is a Japanese end-blown flute. It is traditionally made of bamboo. It was used by the monks of the Fuke school of Zen Buddhism in the practice of suizen ,( blowing meditation).
Rodrigo transmits these pieces the solitary sound of monk Komuso or the technical and mental approaches to these pieces that represent the basic building blocks of the music and minimalist Zen.
Among the 10 (physical Cd Edition, and digital album 8 tracks) pieces that sound on this album, Eleven Waterfalls (Oiwake Minyo style improvisation, folk Japanese) or Shunyata, piece which means that there is nothing that has an individual essence, and therefore that everything is empty, without an independent reality. Everything that exists is connected and interdependent, and the apparent plurality of individuals is an illusory character of our existence.
