The soundtrack to, Camilo Vila’s, 1988 classic horror movie supports the superb cast of Trevor Howard (his last film), Ben Cross, Hal Holbrook, Ned Beatty and others in this emotionally dark and chilling story.
The score was recorded at Motown's "Hitsville West" Studios in Hollywood. Roger Bellon composed and performed the score with fantastic electronic sounds created by famed synth programmer Pete Kaye. The choir was arranged and conducted by pop icon Harlan Collins.
Roger’s score is the second one composed for this movie, the first being thrown out by, Vestron, the production company.
Roger and Peter spent night and day for two solid weeks producing the soundtrack as the film’s release date mercilessly approached and the new score had to be completed on time.
Listening to the musical landscape of this soundtrack one gets the sensation of being sent straight to Hell with our Unholy characters.
