ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Roger Howse has been playing the blues for the best part of four decades. From other regional blues artists, such as Denis Parker & Dutch Mason, to the classic bluesmen "Pinetop" Perkins and David "Honeyboy" Edwards, and seminal modern day artists like Billy Branch and Harry Manx, Howse has shared the stage with many world class artists with his own 'East Coast' style. From the fingerpicked styles of Blind Willie McTell to slide chops that conjure up Muddy Waters and wah-wah driven blues-rock, there is something here for every blues fan.

Compiled from three recording sessions and two independent releases, this CD is a great introduction to a stalwart of the Eastern Canada blues scene, winner of both a Juno award and an East Coast Music Award for his music.
