Composed by Roland Chadwick
Performed by The Modern Guitar Trio
Rococo Café was written in Ealing, West London in 2008 in my garden Studio. Life at that time was idyllic and when I wasn’t working I spent much of my time at the Rococo Café with a book or my good friend Terry and his dog Nelson.
There was a young man who came to Rococo Café from time to time named Jerome. He was of African decent and was full of life and the ambition to be a DJ. He was a gentle man. Life became hard for him and his problems mounted and he sought an all too permanent solution to his difficulties. It was months before I found out what happened to him. These flowers are for Jerome.
The Modern Guitar Trio: Roland Chadwick, Roland Gallery and Vincent Lindsay-Clark.
