Farfetched

by Ron Bucknam

An odd sound artifact rumored to have surfaced at area 54; perhaps a dance/entertainment disc enjoyed by vibration sensing aliens.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Rockin' stompin' music from Venus (now that is fetched far)! I love strange new sounds, kickin' rhythms & blissed out drones, so I brought them together on this recording. "Farfetched" is in the "experimental" catagory because there is some "out stuff" here, but if you have a sense of adventure in your listening and a sense of humor, you won't be disappointed. With standard instruments there is often the "who's better than who, gunslinger mentality"; whereas with new instruments (electronic or not) one can step out of that framework into a new space. For many people new is scary - I guarantee this music rarely causes permanent damage! I sincerely hope you have fun with it. Ron

New sounds, new places.
New sounds? Absolutely. But always accessible- perhaps it’s the rhythmic drive of many of the pieces. Indian psychedelia, Eno-esque worlds, topological explorations of Venus with a beat.
