Roncolino Marajà is the acoustic work of Andrea Roncolini. Remembering the famous Domenico Modugno’s song, Pasqualino Marajà, Andrea left Italy to follow his passions (music, art and culture). He came in Paris in 2007 where he learned how to play the ukulele, how to swim and how to make the pizza on his own.
After releasing his first demo «Uku Star», Andrea met Laurent Mallet in 2009; since then they start to collaborate to improve Andrea's songs in an open and wider sense. They also met Emilio, then Kristof, with whom he recorded a first 4 tracks Ep, A Lazy Day in 2011, released on a Creative Commons license and available in free download on the Jamendo digital platform.
Originally based on ukulele, his songs maintain their characteristic acoustic sounds with more acoustic guitars and vocals involved in, to finally evolve in his actual personal style. In 2012 he released a new single for Christmas holidays: May Your Feet.
The Elephant Kiss is his first full length album.
