Album Notes
Ron Moody is, and has been, the leader and lead singer of the lengendary Southern Soul Band, Ron Moody and the Centaurs since it's inception in the 1960's! Ron and the band recorded the Southern Classic "If I Didn't Have A Dime" on Columbia Records and he has also recorded for ABC/Dunhill and MGM South. Aside from performing for years, Ron has an additional unique perpective, having also worked in sales and marketing for such major league players as ABC/Dunhill, Polygram, and Universal Music. "My many years of performing and all my years of working for labels, have convinced me of one thing," says Ron. "There is just not enough new music being created for the 77 million baby boomers out there!!"
"Folks are desperately looking for new music that blends with the classic soul and rock that they grew up with." "What's more, there are legions of fans from a new generation, who are experiencing and loving this music for the first time. I see all ages at our shows..."
Ron's music is heavily influenced by his soul and country heroes...Elvis, Jackie Wilson, Sam Cooke, Ray Charles, Hank Williams.."After all, true Rock & Roll is just a gumbo of Rhythm & Blues and Country, with a little Gospel and Blues mixed in for flavor!" That's the music I's TIMELESS!"

Retro, Beach and Soul This CD has got it all.
Crisp vocals, wonderful sax solos and solid guitar rifs
make this a great listening CD. You take a trip
back in time and then feel like you're on the dance floor
today. Those of you who are good songwriters will appreciate
Southern Style.

Remember those summer nights...they were made memorable by the music. Well, here it the song says, these sounds are timeless. An excellent CD. I especially like the way it opens with a real finger popper, Second Chance Romance. A must have for the collection.
