Album Notes
Growing up in a strict Christian home, the only "secular" music allowed to be played was classical, jazz, and a few 1960's folk albums left over from her mother's hippie past. This was the music that shaped the songwriting of Rose Fraser. Her voice is jazzy and soulful, the main "instrument" of her music, accompanied by rhythmic acoustic guitar and abstract chords. Very lyrically driven, Rose Fraser's song content covers many things from God to sailors, bitterness to love. She is a dynamic solo performer who entrances audiences with her storytelling songs and lush vocals.

Norah Jones and the Sundays
This CD is great! It reminds me of Norah Jones a little bit and The Sundays. Her voice is really cool and the songs are pretty. The song lyrics are really good (a few I can't fully understand but they still sound pretty!) I like "Waiting" and "Life is Beautiful" the best. I will definitely buy another CD if she puts one out!
