The four members of R.O.T.S. each hailed from a different country, but they all met up teaching disenfranchised youth at a music school in Kosovo. Now they regularly write, record, and tour together throughout the Balkans and Europe.
Ruud Borgers (Netherlands) singer, songwriter and guitarist who has been performing for nearly three decades. His bands Bo the Rude, Reddmoon and Takkedak have been instrumental in defining the Netherlands' rock scene. Tony Barilla (Texas) is a songwriter and musician who's been writing and performing music ever since he snuck into his first blues bar to play piano at the age of fourteen. Miloš Dražević (Serbia) and Mladen Marinković (Bosnia) spent nearly a decade working together as Kosovo's loudest rhythm section, touring and performing with notorious garage/punk band Hosenfefer.
Together these four musicians are R.O.T.S., a straight up rock 'n' roll band that has spent the last couple of years building a reputation throughout the Balkans for energetic live shows and original material, delivering guitar-driven music that cuts across borders and continents.
