ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
SPECIAL OVERSTOCK SALE ($9.99)
Veteran jazz guitarist Royce Campbell was the guitarist for Henry Mancini for 19 years. Mancini became a good friend and musical mentor to Royce. Like Mancini Royce Campbell is also a prolific composer. Over 250 of Campbell's compositions have been recorded by various artists. Campbell always gives credit to Mancini's influence, both as a composer and a melodic improviser. When Campbell decided to do a series of solo guitar CD projects it seemed like a solo guitar tribute to Mancini would be a perfect way to pay homage to Mancini since there is something so very personal and intimate about solo guitar.
This CD is the third in Campbell's solo guitar series. The other CD's in the series are "The Art Of Chord Solo Guitar" and "Solo Wes: A Solo Guitar Tribute To Wes Mongomery.
