Album Notes
ROCK, SOLO MALE ARTIST. This song is on my "UNITED STATES OF FREEDOM", album. The original song was written by Lloyd Lunceford, and myself. I'm playing; ( electric guitar ) and doing the singing. The genre is sorta: Rock-Country-Blues! This is a fun song, and is in the Key of " E "major. The Blues Guitar is played with feeling. This song is played with a second track. This song was very popular on the Oregon and Washington coast's, getting some air-play on the college radio stations. I enjoy the tough cowboy sound, of my voice, as I us it here.! Similar to my album: " HILL BILLY BLUES ". This is comedy, like meny of my songs ! I don't smoke cigarettes. That is rarely, unless I've been drinking, maybe ? I have quite a following with this song, and meny loyal fans, etc. FUN FUN FUN LLOYD LUNCEFORD, aka: Josh, is a good friend of mine, his band is called: "BUDDY RATTLER & THE DIAMONDBACKS ". The story of the writting of the song is interesting. Josh and myself were in a band called: " UNEFFECTED ", with Joe Fromm, aka: " J",a 12 string guitarist and music teacher, and lead-singer. With bass guitar player, Zorro, aka: Mike Devero. One nite after playing lead guitar, with the band all-nite- long. Josh came in, that night he'd, came in to Joe's appartment, with the original song idea. The story goes like this: Josh played in the parking lot of a Circle-K, store, that night. He asked a guy, for a cigarette, and the guy said: " I got a nicotine patch, and a Marboro cigarette." In a few minutes, I wrote the music, and the verses, with Josh. ( Note: I just heard that Joseph Micheal Fromm, was in the hospital, in Salem, Oregon with heart trouble. I'll pray for him, as he is a Great Guitarist, and singer..... July 27, 2011.) Joe Fromm is out of the hospital. This song was born at Joe's place.
