The music I composed for The Stone Sanctuary is like snapshots of places in Zion National Park that I would like share with you. It is my hope that the calming powers of these melodies and harmonies- inspired by nature- will renew your mind and spirit; awakening your heart to the spiritual truths that await within."
Rebecca Sabine-Ramsey, violinist and composer, was born in Long Beach , CA and was lead violinist for many years of the Caesar's Palace Orchestra for such stars as Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Natalie Cole and Tony Bennett. Among her many professional accomplishments, she was the concertmaster for Andrea Bocelli's PBS special and DVD, Amore-Under a Desert Sky, has toured with Van Morrison and Il Divo. She currently plays for Celine Dion at Caesar's Palace.
Rebecca Ramsey's CD, The Stone Sanctuary, Silhouettes of Zion, won third place, out of 10,000 albums submitted, for best instrumental album at the Just Plain Folks Awards 2004, a Web-based independent music organization with more than 25,000 members.
