ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Good music is like a good wine – it stays the course and improves over time. Such is true with the music of Ruby Winters, ‘A Soul Diamond’ as she has been referred to in the past.

“My desire is to sing songs that have a meaning and a message” says Ruby, a true legend in the world of soul music who probably has never received all the attention she deserves. In our second album of classic 1970’s soul, Mediaworld draws on Ruby’s K-tel years and is proud to present another showcase of a lost talent for the enjoyment of those who grew up enjoying her music, to current fans who were not even born during Ruby’s original incarnation as a Songstress of Soul. Excellent.
