ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Rudy Tepel Orchestra, the most popular band at orthodox ceremonies, performed at over 6,000 Jewish weddings and had the largest repertoire of Chassidic music (over 600 tunes) of any perfumer of the genre.

"Chassidic Wedding" features a selection of 21 wedding melodies from the various Eastern European Chassidic communities. The booklet includes a VERY detailed description of the wedding ceremony rituals, from the style of dance, to the shaving of the brides hair. A wonderful recording that not only offers great music, but a look at the whole wedding process.

This is a perfect companion to Rudy Tepel's "Lubavitch Wedding" CD.
