This is the second in a series of workout mixes curated by Shape magazine's workout music columnist Chris Lawhorn.
It was assembled using the feedback from the users of the workout music database at RunHundred.com.
The plan was to try to move slightly away from the techno cover songs that usually dominate these sort of albums.
Instead, a host of DJs and bands were employed to put together something that sounds more like a mixtape you’d make for a friend–but without the slow songs.
Accordingly, the album features 12 tracks from a variety of genres and a 30 minute, continuous mix--featuring all of the tracks.
