Elev^tor

by Russo

Some great songs hidden in there, but badly recorded, sorry I messed it up. I even misspelled the one decent track on there. The cover's good though.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Not recommended. Elev^tor It was sabotaged. It wouldn't have been that good anyway, but re-recording it at another studio was a stupid mistake. Be careful out there, especially with engineers who are most likely musicians themselves. They're not going to make your life easier for you- and in this case, I came away with mono recordings, instead of the stereo ones I went in with. I still have the stereo versions, but it's unlikely I'll ever re-release them.

Co-producer on "Find & Fulfil Your Destiny" ('Fufi') is credited to a ginger Felis Domesticus named Marley. Who sat on my leg as I was putting the master mix down one night. I originally had the main lead guitar part set at a moderate volume. But I don't think this was quite to Marley's satisfaction, and at this point all 20 of those little claws protracted themselves into my thigh! y'ighh- I then whacked the guitar fader right up and pressed record. Purrrrr'rrr..

Elev^tor- written, produced and became it within a space of 4 months between January-April 2009. In contrast to the previous albums, the material was compiled from new ideas
for each floor, lyric poems, music; all written during this year. I write concerning parties and shaningans. Things that happens in dreams and in daily living. I think this album all
concerning the lyric poems and the drums are, which are for one of my reports, uncommon. The jet aeros aren't badly to one of both. I stumbled also retrospecting some cold
vote, for the report. The history of rock is now approximately 55 old yrs (youtube killed the video star era) and it' s that with difficulty, with new sounds and styles on which to
become, becomes which, are new and relevant. For this reason studied another one valuable part of making this album, older music as well as new material and the origin of the
link members, who wrote that large music, all. The large thing concerning is in the link Russo, is that all link members are in agreement, to go on which sounds the best. We all know
exactly what the other person plays and on the point stands, play so that the music makes it even tighter, a unique sound. You have ever eliminated only TV and aaaaahhhh…
that' s kinda nice? All that screaming, swearing and shouting and advertisements, crushing, crashes and more advertisements [in asscociation with ACME Birdseed], explosions and
nonsense. Thus, I started writing pagina' s and pagina' s of lyric poems, re-typing them (if I had the chance). I spend also many an hour building [M] synthesizer and from drum tones
and a finding jet aero sound which adapted, then crooning the words on upper part, to compliment each other. Once within the lift, go to 6th deepening and closes in 3, the 1, 5
using emergency situation tel., this the back Hemmelig Gjennomgang reveals the secret space will open. The hope enjoys you each floor.

METAL HAMMER

AN IMAGINATIVE BUT BLOATED GEM
Would have been a much better record had it been 6 or 7 tracks lighter. The 18 here are all fairly good, but not as expansive as on the previous album Mooza Zanoo Zah. However the sound quality is slightly improved on Elev^tor compared to the first 3 Russo albums. From the bombastic opener 'Ace of the Blackhearts' to the bold and smoke-filled 'Are those Fake Beards?', Elev^tor is swathed in elocutionary guitar fills and jaw-dropping tones which climax during the 6 and half minutes of 'Find & Fulfil Your Destiny'. Twisting, knuckle-crunching instrumentals, guaranteed to push your senses to the limits. Followed by slighty drafty ballads, sometimes featuring unconvincing storybook lyrics leave the listener feeling like they've eaten an under-cooked banquet. Memorable, but not quite as satisfying as it should have been.
