ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Rusty

I was born and raised in a small country village in the natal midlands called Creighton. At the age of thirteen I went off to boarding school, to Hilton college outside of PMB. There I finished off my high school career. Not really sure what I should do, I first did my national service, and it was then that I first picked up a guitar and learned how to play. Soon afterwards my father became ill and it was inevitable that I would have to return home and run the farm. Music has always been a very important part in my life and it was only a few years ago when a friend of mine introduced me to the Hicenda, a small country pub outside Hilcrest. A place where you can go and listen to local talent performing their own original songs. I played there a couple of times but did not have any songs of my own. Then I met Claudette, and suddenly I felt really inspired and started to put pen to paper. After writing two songs I decided to take them back to the Hicenda and perform them there. From that moment on I never looked back and continued to carry on writing. Most of my songs are inspired from real life experiences of love, passion, heartache and basically just life in general concerning my self and others around me. I would like to dedicate this album to my wonderful wife Clauds, and to my three amazing children, Shannon, Bridgitt and Nicholas who all inspired me and supported me through this time. I would like to thank Byrdcliff studios and G-force studios for making this all happen. Peit and Grant have been really great and without their input, the good life would not have come together the way it did
