Album Notes
Ryan Sweezey is a singer songwriter who writes acoustic driven alternative, adult contemporary pop with very strong lyric and melodic sensibility. "No Hollywood Star" was recorded at Briola Studios on the North Shore of Boston, MA. The musicians on this record are some of the most sought after players in the area. Tim Archibald on Bass and Brian Maes on keys are both members of Ernie And The Automatics and former members of RTZ as well as Peter Wolf's House Party 5. Kook Lawry on guitar is a highly sought after session and live player and has been a member of the Brian Maes Band for nearly 30 years. "Little" Dickie Paris on the drums is the drummer for the explosive band "Fortune" as well as the Herland Brothers. Dickie has also performed with Brian for many years. Though this lineup has played on many records, Ryan Sweezey's record is one that they are all very proud to have been a part of.
