I this third issue of the Organ Mosaic series, Sabin Levi has put together yet another attractive selection of fine organ music, demonstrating the variety of the Wolff organ at the Bales Organ Recital Hall, University of Kansas.
Being an outstanding composer of music for his own instrument, he also includes several highly sophisticated pieces of his own. His personal compositional style is characterized by intricate floating rhythms, that perfectly demonstrate the transparency of the various organ divisions.
Levi is able to adjust his creative personality's ingenious musical expression to each style of the recorded organ works, making this disk even more enjoyable to listen to.
