International sound artist S. Peña Young's music has been heard throughout Europe, Asia, Australia, Latin America, and North America at Art Basil Miami, the Beijing Conservatory, the Australasian Computer Music Conference, Pulsefield International Exhibition of Sound Art, Vox Novus, Turkey's Cinema for Peace, the NY International Independent Film Festival, and Miramax's Project Greenlight. Young's musical expertise ranges from dance electronica, rock, and film music to world music, classical, and jazz. With over two decades of musical experience, Young is a nationally respected composer and sound artist.

In April 2010, Millikin University premiered Young's multimedia oratorio "Creation", a large scale work for sixty women, African drumming ensemble, electronica, and computer animation. Recent projects include a commercial album for Easy Ear Training, radio jingles for public station WKMS, and the upcoming album "Creation". Young's debut electronica album, "Origins" came out in 2008. Young teaches music technology, film music, recording, and composition at Murray State University.
