The Memphis Horns, Inc. featuring Wayne Jackson, Andrew Love, Ed Logan, James Mitchell, Jack Hale and The Memphis Symphony Strings. String arrangements by Charles Chalmers.

Recorded at Widget Studio ~ Muscle Shoals, Alabama and Sun Studios ~ Memphis,Tennessee.

This rare CD is not available anywhere else! The CD also features ALL of the original color cover artwork that features a Jack Davis (Mad Magazine) cartoon drawing to illustrate each song on the album!

The title song MOTORCYCLE MAMA was also covered by Iceland\'s Bjork and her band The Sugarcubes in the late 70\'s and was a hit in other parts of the world.

\"You\'ll be the Queen of my highway...My Motorcycle Mama...and we\'ll see the world from my Harley....if the chain don\'t break !\"

SAILCAT is in the process of reuniting to record their third album in 30 years....

Great Lost Treasure
Now this album is super cool. From the Mad Magazine illustrations on (and in) the gatelfold to the songs themselves.

Taken as a whole album it tells a story about a man about to self destruct that finds happiness in the end. Taken song-for-song, each song is well written, well played and fun to hear. A great testament to Johnny Wyker's genious with his first nation-wide hit.

Keep on Riding Motorcycle Mama!
I have been listening to this album all of my life. Louis Mullenix was my uncle. I bought this CD to give to one of my sisters for a birthday gift. Motorcyle Mama is and always be a classic hit. I am glad people still love it!! Our family will always be fans. Love to Lou

Am enjoying the CD. Wish it had the song "Baby Ruth" on it.
I am enjoying the CD. I was sorta hoping but really knew that it would not contain the song "Baby Ruth" which was the flip side of B.B.Gunn on the single. CD Baby got the CD to me very quickly.

Greatest biker Album ever
My dad used to build choppers way back in the early 70's and this album was playing constantly in the shop. I've always loved these tunes, and never seem to tire of hearing them no matter how many times I hear them.

Long time comin' and well worth the wait!
My pal Johnny Wyler and his band scored a big un in 1972 with "Motorcycle Mama." I was in the 10th grade in High School. I remember paying 69 cents for the 45 (with picture sleeve)...I still have it! This album is a CLASSIC, folks. With Pete Carr, Chuck LEavell, and a cast of thousands. "Rainbow Road" is the best! Don't dare miss the opportunity to have this one!
