ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Paper Soul is a spoken word project written and performed by visual artist and poet, Sarah Stewart. She integrates drums, and various locally recorded nature sounds as a backdrop to some of her pieces. If you've ever been to the panhandle of Florida in summer, you'll recognize the frogs for sure! Drummer and co-producer, Ted Cobena of Bas Clas, was an integral part of this creative process. Her themes explore nature as a metaphor for life's experiences. Her poem "Unsung Anthem" was chosen to be part of a compilation cd to benefit Shelter House, a domestic violence shelter. Full of reflection, questions and a moment of wry humor, may you enjoy the beauty and simplicity of her journey revealed through spoken word. Paper Soul 2012.
